Marion Oaks Manor Extension Workshop, Now Dec. 9
The county first listed a Board of County Commissioners workshop for the Marion Oaks Manor Extension Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2026, at 9 a.m. Its Nov. 5 Sunshine Notice moves the workshop to Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m. in the McPherson auditorium; the notice does not give a reason. The board held an introductory workshop on the same study on Oct. 7, 2025, according to the county's agenda archive.
A PD&E study is the planning phase that examines a road's route and its environmental and community effects before design and construction. For background on the Marion Oaks area, see our Marion Oaks guide, Marion Oaks Park and our report on the Walmart planned on CR 484.
