BJ's Wholesale Club Opens Its Ocala Club on SW 60th Avenue

Update, Oct. 23, 2026: BJ's Wholesale Club's Ocala club is now open. On opening day, BJ's club page read "This Club is now open!" and listed the club at 7351 SW 60th Ave., Ocala, FL 34476, phone 352-830-6380, with club hours of 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. BJ's confirmed the Oct. 23 date in an Oct. 20 press release, which names Jeff Scott as the Ocala club manager and says the club is partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. The club's Google Business Profile shows the same phone number and hours.

BJ's Wholesale Club opened its first Ocala club on Friday, Oct. 23, 2026. The company announced the date in its Oct. 20 release, which says the new club at 7351 SW 60th Avenue will bring "unbeatable value and convenience to even more families." BJ's Ocala membership page now reads "Now Open in Ocala, Florida."

"We're thrilled to bring that unbeatable value and convenience to Ocala," Scott said in the release. BJ's says the Ocala club will regularly donate produce, meat, dairy products and more to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, a Feeding America food bank whose service area includes Marion County.

BJ's first named Ocala as one of five new club locations in a May 22, 2026 press release, alongside Frankfort, Ky.; Lecanto and Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and Portage, Ind. The company said then that the new clubs would bring its Florida count to 46 and that it planned to open 12 new clubs in its 2026 fiscal year.

Hours and departments

The club page lists these hours for the Ocala location:

- Club: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday; 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday
- BJ's Gas: 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday; 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday
- Optical: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; noon to 5 p.m. Sunday (352-830-6382)
- Tire center: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday (844-700-TIRE, or 844-700-8473)

The club page also lists apparel and footwear, a bakery, beer and wine, liquor, a delicatessen, lottery, curbside pickup, pickup in-club, same-day delivery and ExpressPay, BJ's scan-as-you-shop checkout in its mobile app.

The on-site BJ's Gas station opened before the club did. BJ's offered members regular gas at $2 a gallon for one day, Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a 30-gallon limit.

Membership and opening bonus

Shopping at BJ's requires a membership. The Ocala membership page lists regular prices of $60 a year for BJ's Club and $120 a year for BJ's Club+. Its opening offer, $40 for a year of Club or $80 for a year of Club+ with BJ's Easy Renewal, was listed as valid online at BJs.com/Ocala through Oct. 22, 2026. Easy Renewal charges the then-current fee each year until it is cancelled.

New members also get an opening bonus that applies at the Ocala club only. During the first 90 days after the club opens, each single transaction of $100 or more (after discounts, before tax) earns a $10 reward for Club members or a $15 reward for Club+ members. The page limits it to one qualifying transaction a day and 15 in all, and each reward must be used within 30 days. Gas, alcohol, tobacco, gift cards, membership fees and several other categories do not count toward the $100.

The address changed before opening

BJ's club page and club locator listed the Ocala club at 7030 SW 59th Ave. before the opening. The club page, membership page and Oct. 20 release now all give the address as 7351 SW 60th Ave. Both are in ZIP code 34476. As of Oct. 23, the club's Google Maps listing still showed the 7030 SW 59th Ave. address.

Opening day was Early Black Friday

The opening date lined up with a companywide sale. BJ's said in an Oct. 15 press release that its Early Black Friday deals begin Oct. 23 in clubs and online, with discounts on toys, TVs, electronics and home goods.

The nearest other BJ's clubs are in Lady Lake (13585 NE 86th Path, 352-829-4535) and Lecanto (3503 W. Norvell Bryant Hwy., 352-677-4445).

BJ's Wholesale Club is not related to BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, which has no Ocala location; see our BJ's Restaurant guide. For the club's address, phones, hours and membership details in one place, see our BJ's Wholesale Club Ocala page.
