Paddock Mall: Ocala's Enclosed Mall
Paddock Mall is Ocala's enclosed shopping mall, at 3100 SW College Road (SR 200) just east of I-75 Exit 350. According to its owner, CBL Properties, Paddock Mall is the only enclosed shopping center in Marion County, half a mile east of Interstate 75 and across the street from the College of Central Florida; the next closest regional mall is more than 40 miles away. Farther southwest near SR 200, two big-box stores are in the county pipeline. Marion County approved the site plan for a 128,660-square-foot Target at 9479 SW 80th Ave. on Aug. 24, 2026, and Home Depot USA bought 13.28 acres at 8151 SW Highway 200 in June 2026 for a planned store with a garden center. Near Marion Oaks, Wal-Mart Stores East LP bought 19.61 acres at 5855 SW Highway 484 in April 2026, where a county-approved site plan shows a 186,287-square-foot store.
